Just a shot from the hip. Thank goodness for high speed digital cameras *digs at dads film camera*47 viewsAnyhow, I'd like to say this took hours of patience waiting for the right bird to fly directly overhead, but I just snapped this on impulse on sport mode. The back edges of the wings aren't a blur, they are translucent. Pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Trav's Shipwreck From the Water51 viewsThis is when we were sailing past the poor thing. It looks so sad out of water. I didn't even know it was shipwrecked until I got to FL.

Now there is "My Boy Blue" towing Trav's "Dingy with a Sail"64 viewsTiny little boat and all that Trav has left. First time I pulled a trailer. I even launched it without incident. I had all the theorys and since I have a touch of dislexia (only according to me) I had a better grasp on what to do backwards to maneuver the trailer into the water to launch the boat. It was fun.

Trav's Shipwreck59 viewsThis was Trav's baby and he was about to sell it and let his insurance run out since he wasn't using it and it blew from the dock onto shore during the hurricane. Moral of the story is, don't let your insurance slip for any reason!!! (It's legally a shipwreck and there is no salvaging it. It's too shallow to get a tug close enough and it's far enough away from the parking lot that it may take a lot to get a crane in there to pick it up. He has to have it removed by the end of March 05. I feel his pain.)
